My name is Caroline Stanley and I play professional soccer for Sky Blue FC in the NWSL. I grew up in Missouri, where I played for various club teams and went through every level with the Olympic Development Program. I also won a National Championship with my club team the summer before we started college, the only team to do so from the Kansas City area.
I started my freshmen at The University of Missouri, but went through a very difficult time transitioning into college and ended up deciding to transfer. I had an extremely unique recruiting process as a high schooler, filled with verbal commitments, and de-commitments, many tears, confusion, and hours spent figuring things out by myself. When my freshmen year season was cut short, and I decided to transfer, I went through the entire journey to find a school again. Only this time, I had a lot more knowledge and understanding of how the process works and what I wanted out of a university. I ended up taking my official visits to different schools, and picking the University of Southern California, where I graduated in three and a half years.
I hope that my story will give you the assurance you’re looking for to help you land at your dream school. I am very understanding of how intimidating this process can be and can’t wait to help you feel confident moving forward in this adventure. This is an incredibly exciting time in your life! Let me help you enjoy it, and guide you through it. I learned so many valuable lessons going through recruiting twice, and I'll give you a behind the scenes, refreshing, open and honest approach to the college recruiting process. Let’s get started!
